About
Manus in Luto, Cor Natura - Hands in the Dirt, Heart with Nature.
The word "garden" is derived from "geard," which means enclosure, wettle or fence, which in turn comes from the German word "Gerte", i.e. thin flexible shoots of willow, dogwood or hazel, from which fences were made.
My guild sign for all gardeners, be it as profession and/or passion, shows a watering can with shovel & sow's tooth - above it the sun-flower, in front of it the braided fence 🌻

Background Story
Based on the medieval guilds and their heraldic symbols, I created a collection for special professions - and passions.
Whatever someone does with genuine enthusiasm and love, be it picking mushrooms, practicing a craft or writing poetry - deserves to be appreciated.
